Opening Weekend Garden Party Celebration

May 18 & 19, 2024

11 a.m.–5 p.m. | Daffodil Hill

Dine like royalty and join us as a special guest for the Queen’s Tea! Race the White Rabbit, tongue-tie yourself with the Tweedles, or sit for a springtime chat with Alice herself! Presented by the award-winning theatre company We Players, experience wild and whimsical Wonderland characters at NYBG during our all-out opening weekend celebration.

While you’re here, enjoy Wonderland-inspired tea and crumpets for purchase, give croquette a go among other lawn games, and create your own hat before joining in a variety of tea sampling demonstrations as the Mad Hatter makes merry on grounds.
