Join us with our community and organizational partners for a celebration honoring Karen Washington, a longtime Bronx farmer, community activist, advocate for food justice, as well as NYBG Trustee. Stop by for lively music, delicious food, and a ceremony to recognize Karen and her incredible work in urban farming for more than 30 years.

COVID-19 TESTING AND COVID-19 VACCINES WILL BE AVAILABLE ON-SITE FOR AGES 12 AND UP.

Co-hosts include: Albert Einstein College of Medicine, B Blossom Catering, Black Urban Growers, Bronx Community Farm Hubs, Bronx Green-Up/NYBG, Farm School NYC, Friends of Brook Park Youth Farm, La Finca del Sur, La Isla Youth Garden, Mary Mitchell Family and Youth Center, Mothers on the Move, Montefiore Health System, NYC Community Garden Coalition, NYC Parks GreenThumb, Padre Plaza Success Community Garden, and Why Hunger.

Please note: All attendees must follow social distancing guidelines. Face coverings are required, regardless of vaccination status.
