For Van Gogh Dress-Up Day on July 26, we want to see your BEST looks inspired by the painter himself! 👗👔🌻

Come dressed to impress—whether you're coming as Vincent, one of his masterpieces, or his favorite inspirations—and join us for a day filled with plein-air painting, photo ops, and a look-alike contest. Beginning at noon, the first 100 visitors to join us at the Garden will receive Van Gogh-themed gifts, and contest winners get fun prizes to take home.

Come grab a drink with us as we light up Van Gogh's Flowers for the evening, with live bistro music and dance performances, wandering puppets evoking the color and life of the artist's paintings, and—conditions permitting—our unbelievable illuminated drone show overhead, the first of its kind at a cultural institution in the City.

As the seasons change, so too do the botanical displays of our exhibition in and around the Haupt Conservatory. See the field of monumental sunflowers grow taller and more lush as the days pass, while the palettes of plants inside our landmark glasshouse shift with new summer flowers taking the place of spring favorites.

The Thain Forest is the place to be for miles of trails that take you out of the city and put you among the sun-dappled paths of our 50-acre, old-growth woodland. And the Native Plant Garden is a perfect escape to find a bench, open a book, and relax to the sound of wildlife among one of our greenest collections.
