See Baby Snapping Turtles Hatch at the Garden

They may be tiny now, but soon they’ll be the biggest reptiles in the Garden.

September is baby snapping turtle season in New York, when the eggs laid in early summer are ready to hatch. And this year we were lucky to catch them on the move! Hear from Arvolyn Hill, Coordinator of Family Programs in the Everett Children’s Adventure Garden, to learn more about these beloved residents of NYBG.
