Brass by the Slice

November 18, 19, & 20, 2022

Brass by the Slice is a high energy brass band based in New York City, serving up all of your favorite Holiday hits. BBTS has been popping up around Manhattan and Brooklyn since May 2021, and more recently The Bronx. The group has performed at Public Display of Affection Pizza, the Royal Palms Shuffleboard Club, Big Alice Brewery for their monthly Jambalaya, as well as Madison Square Park and McCarren Park. They have also partnered with the clothing company Birddogs, and as the marching band at the end of Two Rivers Theater Company’s production of Three Sisters.

Steel Pan Holiday with Khuentertainment

Winners of the International Pan Ramajay Competition 2020, Khuent Rose leads the steel pan ensemble, Khuentertainment. The ensemble is part of a generation of young steelpan music innovators charting imaginative performances while holding a profound respect and understanding for the titans that have built this distinctive musical tradition.

The Uptown Brass Quintet

December 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 2022 & January 1, 2023

Uptown Brass is a group of five professional musicians living in New York City. The group was first conceived of in 2007 and has compiled a book of over 25 original compositions and arrangements. The quintet has performed in many different NYC venues, from churches and recital halls to children’s programs at schools and museums. Members include Roger Lent, Alex Norris, Ron Wilkins, Eric Davis, and Mark Miller.
