As we mark the 20th anniversary of the events of September 11, we're joined today by poet Emily Sernaker at NYBG's Memorial Tree—a White Oak planted in the Everett Children's Adventure Garden on the first anniversary of 9/11—for readings of selected poetry.

We're thankful for her voice as we commemorate those Bronx residents and workers who were lost on September 11, 2001, and seek to honor their families, friends, and all New Yorkers.
