The Mini Print Vending Machine Has Arrived at NYBG!

The illustrious Inciardi Mini Print Vending Machine has arrived at NYBG this season, boasting two new prints! For just four quarters, you can bring home a surprise mini linocut, custom made for the Garden: an orchid inspired by The Orchid Show or a print of the iconic Haupt Conservatory. There are also several other garden-inspired prints that evoke the beauty of spring.

Two linocut prints side by side, one of the Conservatory and the other of a purple orchid.

Brooklyn-raised artist Anastasia Inciardi (@inciardi) conjured up the idea during 2020, when a quarter shortage hindered her laundry runs. First modeled off of a temporary tattoo machine in her local Key Foods, Inciardi’s mini print dispensers are now drawing crowds wherever they pop up across the boroughs and beyond—and the first appearance in the Bronx is at NYBG.

Be sure to visit NYBG Shop to add these bespoke prints to your collection! You’re invited to indulge in some nostalgia—and simple pleasures—with pieces that are not only beautiful, but etched with memories too.
