At times light-hearted and delightful, and at other times dramatic and intense, Emily of Amherst follows Emily from her early years as young girl gathering plants and flowers through her years as a working poet, with excerpts from poetry and letters incorporated into each scene. An original musical score based on selections from the poet’s own music portfolio and stunning choreography and dancing combine to make this presentation one that is not to be missed.

The Emily Dickinson Museum: The Dickinson Homestead and The Evergreens is devoted to the story and legacy of poet Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) at her family homes, located at 280 Main Street in Amherst, Massachusetts.
