Englewinds musicians: Marcia Hankle, flute; Sarah Davol, oboe; Mitch Kriegler, clarinet; R.J. Kelley, horn; and Atsuko Sato, bassoon. Sweet Megg and the Wayfarers transport you to a world of their own making, incorporating elements of New Orleans and Harlem swing, Parisian cabaret, and blues into one charming musical performance. sweetmeggswayfarers.com
City Island Gold Apiary
Located close to Pelham Bay Park, the Apiary is an ideal setting for honeybees. By educating New Yorkers about how their food is produced, the apiary turns consumers into co-producers by way of public outreach on honeybees and conservation. They conduct "Bee Whisperers' Workshops" without protective gear, as working closely with the insects fosters an intuitive understanding of honeybee behavior.

Designer Chairman Ken Fulk
Ken Fulk creates experiences large and small. For 20 years, the San Francisco-based designer has been known for his richly layered interiors and over-the-top parties. In the last decade, Fulk has evolved into far more than a designer of spaces. He's now the curator of a lifestyle, not only designing clients' homes—down to their custom stationery and signature scent—but also their wardrobes, weddings, dinner parties and family vacations. His firm, Ken Fulk Inc, is a creative think tank made up of designers, artists, architects, graphic designers, brand strategists and producers—all based out of a four-story 1920s building affectionately called "The Magic Factory." The Magic Factory's New York City outpost is opening in the Spring of 2016.
