Welcome to the Junior Patrons Program!
Junior Patrons are young professionals who support and celebrate the mission of the Botanical Garden and seek to promote its important work. Each year Junior Patrons take part in dynamic events that provide incomparable insights into the Garden’s collections, activities, exhibitions, and fields of study. These events and privileges are designed to present young philanthropic New Yorkers with unique opportunities to go behind the scenes at one of the world’s greatest botanical gardens.
As a member of the Junior Patrons Program, you are invited to exclusive events such as:
- Winter Wonderland Ball, the Garden’s annual holiday gala event in the beautiful Enid A. Haupt Conservatory.
- Private viewings of special exhibitions,including The Orchid Show and Holiday Train Show.
- Cocktail receptions in Manhattan.
- The annual Patrons Lecture, featuring exciting speakers giving intimate talks on a variety of topics on related fields.
Junior Patrons also enjoy the following special privileges:
- Unlimited free parking and admission for up to 6 adults and 6 children.
- Intimate seasonal walks with distinguished horticulturists.
- Free or reduced admission to over 100 regional gardens, arboreta, and flower shows, as well as discounts at participating nurseries and garden centers.
- Discounts on the Garden’s Continuing Education courses and lectures and 10% discount at Shop in the Garden and Garden Cafes.
- Subscription to Garden News
- Acknowledgment in the Annual Report
