Junior Patrons are young professionals in their 20s and 30s who support and celebrate the mission of the Botanical Garden and seek to promote its important work. Each year Junior Patrons take part in dynamic events that provide incomparable insights into the Garden’s collections, activities, exhibitions, and fields of study. These events and privileges are designed to present young philanthropic New Yorkers with unique opportunities to go behind the scenes at one of the world’s greatest botanical gardens.

As a member of the Junior Patrons Program, you receive exciting benefits such as:

  • Invitation to purchase tickets to the Winter Wonderland Ball, the Garden’s annual holiday gala event in the beautiful Enid A. Haupt Conservatory.
  • Complimentary invitations to private viewings of special exhibitions,including The Orchid Show and Holiday Train Show.
  • Complimentary invitation to the annual Patrons Lecture, featuring renowned speakers giving in-depth talks on a variety of related topics.

Junior Patrons also enjoy the following special privileges:

  • Dedicated phone line to assist with tickets, parking, and events.
  • Complimentary reserved parking (prior notice is required).
  • Free admission for 6 adults and 6 children.
  • Reduced or complimentary admission to over 100 American Horticultural Society member gardens and arboreta, plus discounts at participating nurseries and garden centers.
  • Discounts on Adult Education courses and at Shop in the Garden.
  • Access to the Garden’s Plant Information Hotline and Circulating Library.
  • Acknowledgment in the Annual Report.
