BEFORE THE GREEN IS GONE:
2017 Sustainability Summit and Dinner
Wednesday, June 14 • 5:30 – 9:30 p.m.
At The New York Botanical Garden

Special Guests of Honor:

Diane Katzin, Sustainability Advocate

The evening will begin with informative and engaging sessions led by a variety of professionals on subjects in three critical sustainability areas—water, forestry, and energy. Independent moderators from media and academia will host, with attendees sharing challenges and practical solutions to critical issues. These information-packed talks will be hosted at active conservation sites throughout the Garden where attendees can see first-hand how corporations are working with NYBG to effect change and sustainably preserve green spaces.

Following the Summit, guests will gather at the landmark Enid A. Haupt Conservatory for cocktails, networking, and an opportunity to continue conversations on session topics while enjoying CHIHULY, a breathtaking exhibition featuring artworks of world-renowned artist Dale Chihuly. Dinner will be hosted by Mistress of Ceremonies Sigourney Weaver. Keynote Speaker Valerie Chort, Vice President of Corporate Citizenship at Royal Bank of Canada, will inspire attendees to spearhead sustainability initiatives both locally and globally, before the green is gone.
